I was greeted with friendly and professional staff and enjoyed exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms during my stay, making it easy to explore the nearby Darling Harbour and beautiful Hyde Park on foot.

It was just a decent option for a momentary pause in Sydney with good value for the price. The bed was comfy and offered a nice ambiance during my stay. Make sure to ask for a room with a working lift if you have luggage.

Cozy stay with awesome perks!

Had a nice 2-night stay here. The bed was super comfy, and the free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Only thing is, the shower door hits the sink, so be careful opening it! There’s a restaurant on-site, which is great too, but the Wi-Fi was kinda slow. Overall, pretty solid.

I thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful decor throughout Veriu Central, especially the inviting lobby with its charming scent and comfortable seating, which made accessing the hotel easy and welcoming for seniors like myself.

A bit more heating for chilly nights would help.

I struggled with limited storage space for my toiletries, and the shower area was tiny. It was tough getting around, especially since the shower door didn't close properly. I also noticed the carpet needed a good vacuum. it could have been cleaner. Those minor issues didn't sour my overall experience, though. The staff were accommodating, and having a happy hour in the lobby made my evenings enjoyable.

The location was fantastic, as we could easily walk to nearby attractions like the Royal Botanic Gardens and Darling Harbour. I appreciated the nice cookies in the foyer and the quality products in the shower. However, the room was quite small, and I found the bed a bit too high, which made getting in and out uncomfortable. Despite the pleasant common areas, the lack of working lifts was a hassle during our stay.

Budget travelers beware

The location was perfect for getting around, just a short stroll to museums and public transport. I liked the well refurbished bathroom, everything felt clean and tidy.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what we got, I guess it was acceptable.

Veriu Central had me feeling right at home! The dining scene nearby is lit, with Basket Brothers for killer brekkie and Din Tai Fung just a short stroll away for those epic dumplings. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay!

But mate, my Micro Double room had a few quirks. The safe went bonkers for a day, and the A/C was like an icebox after cleaning. Plus, no room for clothes left me in a bit of a tangle. Still, it didn't sour the stay too much!
